Our system of full staff orientation, one-on-one training with your “team champions” and ongoing support make the complex process of measuring and reducing your carbon emissions simple.

We work with small and mid-sized business along with non-profits and help you bring your emissions under control and achieve your goals.

While each business will see different benefits from carbon mitigation some benefits are common to all. Such as: greater understanding of carbon in energy; the cost of energy; greater energy efficiency and cost savings. Plus there are significant marketing benefits from taking a leadership role in the environment. An overwhelming majority of the population consider themselves environment conscious and concerned about climate change and seek out ways to express their concern with lifestyle choices.

1) No Excuse – No Charge Option – Small Business “carbonleader” 15 Minute Workshop

A Four Step Process that includes a PowerPoint talk, an Easy To Use Worksheet to calculate your Scope 1 & 2 Emissions of Carbon Dioxide, Methane, Nitrous Oxide, help with your reduction strategies, and the “carbonleader 2015 Certification”On Completion of your Initial Baseline Carbon Inventory

2) Small Business “carbonleader” Program – LOHAS Branding, Carbon Measurement and Reduction

A Four Step Process that includes baseline and 2nd year measurement, reduction strategies and a marketing program all completed and administered for you by the staff at carbonleader. Earns the “carbonleader 2015 Certification”

3) 9 to 5 Office “carbonleader” Program – Carbon Measurement and Reduction Training

A Four Step Process that includes full staff orientation, carbon measurement training, and one-on-one support by the staff at carbonleader. Earns the “carbonleader 2015 Certification”

Note: carbonleader programs, carbon measurement tools and training follow the Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Protocol, an internationally recognized standard developed by the World Resources Institute and endorsed by the David Suzuki Foundation. According to this protocol, an organization’s emissions are divided into three categories, or scopes: Scope 1 comprises all direct sources of emissions. Scope 2 includes purchased electricity, heat, and steam. Scope 3 comprises all other indirect emissions.
